The Semana Santa in Spain was a peculiar experience. All over town there were these processions with people carrying these heavy, I don't know what they're called, but things.. with statues of Jesus and whatnot. The audience seemed happy, at least the tourists, but the people who participated in the processions seemed a bit sad. And that's why I added this b/w picture in the end here. It didn't fit in with all the previous colorful pictures, hence the long text but I wanted to add it somehow. Hehe, anyway, I think it represents a bit of the depressing atmosphere during the processions.
I think the sadness all over there that you could felt was because semana santa is about that, the dead of jesus, and of course later come the party, the hapiness etc, etc, that kind of stuff, nice pics by the way.
